Offered as a private or public network, Team Talk MPT is ideally suited for organisations that need to keep in regular contact with in-field personnel.

MPT is an industry standard user interface developed by the British Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (now Department of Trade and Industry). It only requires one, but usually two or more radio channels per site are used. For the duration of the call the user is exclusively allocated a channel from the available trunk and the call is queued if all channels are occupied.

Vertel operates a national MPT 1327 network that provides wide area coverage throughout every state. This analogue network supports one-to-one and one-to-many call profiles on hand held (portable) and vehicle mounted (mobile) subscriber units. It handles voice and data communications and can be connected to a number of devices and networks.

The Team Talk MPT service is suited to large organisations with a number of end users spread across different business units and geographies or smaller organisations that want to subscribe to a large network.
