Team Talk LTR
Team Talk LTR (Logic Trunked Radio) is a carrier grade voice capable mobile radio access service.
Offered as a private or public network, the service is ideal for large fleet operators or organisations that need to keep in regular contact with in-field personnel.
With Team Talk LTR each repeater has its own controller and these are all coordinated together. This is different from other trunked radio systems such as MPT that have a dedicated control channel. Each of these controllers sends out an audible data burst so that subscriber units are aware the system is there. This means LTR's transmission based trunking can set-up calls quicker than similar technologies which is ideal for single site operations were a busy centralise dispatch are required to undertake a high volume of short communications.
Vertel operates a number of LTR networks through selected capital and major cities nationwide. This analogue network supports one to one and one to many call profiles on hand held (portable) and vehicle mounted (mobile) subscriber units. It handles voice and data communications and can be connected to a number of devices and networks.
Migration to Digital
With the introduction of newer digital technologies existing LTR users now have a logical migration path that allows them to sweat existing assets whilst investing in a future proof technology. Read more about Vertels TeamTalk NXDN services
