Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)
The Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) is a global industry alliance comprising more than 120 organizations including telecommunications service providers and equipment manufacturers. The MEF develops technical specifications and implementation agreements to promote interoperability and deployment of Carrier Ethernet worldwide.
Vertel’s selected technology partner, Harris Stratex (and their Elcipsee product) is fully certified by the MEF to technical Specifications MEF 9 and MEF 14 for Carrier Ethernet services.
